Safety & Standards
At Lairos, we take quality, safety, and responsibility seriously — from the materials that touch your child’s skin to the way our products are made and packaged.
Every pair of socks is tested, certified, and produced in a single internationally certified factory that undergoes regular, independent audits for safety, quality, and ethical standards.
Product Safety Certifications
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class I)
All Lairos socks are certified safe for babies and children.
This certification tests for more than 100 harmful substances and guarantees our fabrics are gentle on sensitive skin.
SGS — CPSIA 101 & California Proposition 65
Independently tested by SGS for lead and other restricted substances.
Our results: Pass / Not detected, confirming full compliance with U.S. child safety regulations.
Ethical Manufacturing & Factory Audits
amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)
Our manufacturing partner has passed amfori BSCI audits conducted by TÜV Nord, verifying fair wages, safe working conditions, and no child or forced labor.
SEDEX SMETA 4-Pillar Audit
Audited for labor rights, health & safety, environmental responsibility, and business ethics — demonstrating full compliance with global ethical manufacturing standards.
Responsible Packaging (FSC® Certified)
Our packaging partner is FSC® Chain of Custody certified (QMI-SAI Global), ensuring that our paper boxes come from responsibly managed forests and recycled sources.
Every shipment includes a verified FSC claim for traceability and environmental accountability.
Note: FSC certification applies to packaging materials only; socks themselves are not FSC-certified textiles.
We’re proud to make products that don’t just look and feel good — but are made the right way, from the inside out.
