Materials & Sock Construction
Everyday Comfort, Thoughtfully Designed
Lairos socks bring together soft fabric, purposeful construction, and personal style for everyday AFO wear. Here’s a closer look at the details behind each pair.
Soft Cotton-Rich Fabric
Our socks are made from 90% cotton and 10% spandex. Cotton provides a soft, breathable, absorbent feel, while spandex adds flexible stretch.
Minimal Flat Seams and Zero Internal Threads
Each seam has a specific purpose. At the toes, a thin, minimal seam balances comfort with the durability needed for everyday wear. The heel seam is completely flat, while minimal seams around the cuff support its construction and fit.
Zero internal threads means there are no excess pattern threads or floats inside the sock. You can enjoy colorful designs without those extra interior threads, while the seams that hold the sock together remain in place.
Designed for AFO Wear
Knee-high coverage, a defined heel, and a soft cuff work together to support a comfortable fit under AFO braces. The light-to-medium fabric provides a soft layer without unnecessary bulk.
Choose a size that positions the heel correctly and extends above your brace’s contact areas. Wear the sock directly against the skin, smooth out any folds, then put on the AFO and shoes that accommodate it.
A Style That Feels Like You
From playful prints to versatile solid colors, Lairos gives you room to express your personality. Choosing a favorite pair brings a personal touch to the daily brace routine.
Material Sensitivities
The elastic at the top cuff contains natural rubber latex, so Lairos socks are not latex-free. If you have a latex allergy or a known material sensitivity, check with your healthcare professional before use.
Find Your Fit
