The Lairos Bear was born directly from our own family’s journey.
When our son, Ariel, first started wearing AFOs, he was understandably reluctant. His favorite plush toy, "Kippi" the Hedgehog, became our secret weapon.

We created a game - pretending Kippi wore braces too, and practicing with his socks and AFOs. This playful routine transformed Ariel's fear into cooperation.

But Kippi’s job didn't stop at our morning routine. He went everywhere with us - to hospital check-ups, orthotist visits, and physical and occupational therapy sessions. He was a constant, comforting presence through every big step of Ariel’s medical journey.

We thought: "What if there was a universally cuddly friend that actually wore removable braces? A companion any child could dress, practice with, and relate to?"

That’s why we created the Lairos Bear. It's one more piece of our personal story, designed to protect not just our kids' skin, but their confidence.
